The heart of Fucecchio is the Corsini complex, built on the ruins of the medieval castle, home to the Museum of Fucecchio, and Poggio Salamartano, religious center of the local community since the 11th century. One of Italy's most famous journalists and writers, Indro Montanelli, was born in Fucecchio.
