Make more of your Pantheon visit - take a 35 minute guided audio tour. The Basilica of “Santa Maria ad Martyres,” better known as the Pantheon, has a fascinating history. Discover how a pagan temple first became a church, and then the final resting place for many great historical figures, such as Corelli, Raphael, and two of the kings of Italy. The Pantheon has the world's largest unreinforced concrete dome – over 1,000 years after having been built!

Audio guide available in 8 languages: Italian, English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese and Chinese.

Duration of audio guided visit: 35 minutes.

Pickup at the Audio Guide Desk of Basilica di Santa Maria ad Martyres/Pantheon (Piazza della Rotonda) during the following hours:

  • Monday to Friday; 10:30am - 6:30pm
  • Saturday: 10:30am - 4pm
  • Sunday: 12noon - 5:30pm
  • Holidays: 9:30am - 1pm
  • Closings may occur without previous notice for masses, concerts, and extraordinary events.

Cancellation Policy

For up to five (5) audio guides booked, cancellations will be accepted at any time, and a 100% refund will be offered, minus the service fee.

For cancellation at any time for six (6) and more audio guides booked, no refund can be granted.
