In the Footsteps of Leonardo

Experience the great artist and scientist Leonardo da Vinci through his Milanese works!

Your tour begins with the Sala di Leonardo and the Codex Atlanticus, the most extensive collection of Leonardo’s manuscripts. It contains Leonardo's contributions to mechanics, mathematics, history, botany, geography, physics, chemistry and architecture, as well as the master's drawings of war devices, underwater and flying machines, tools, architecture and urban design projects. You'll also see the master's treatises on theoretical and technical principles of painting, sculpture, optics and perspective. Included are also Leonardo's fables, tales, and philosophic meditations.

You will then continue to the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, where you will admire The Last Supper, Leonardo da Vinci's masterpiece, known in Italian as the Cenacolo. It is located in the refectory of the 15th century church and has earned a spot on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Extensive measures have been taken to renovate and protect the Cenacolo. To ensure that the fresco is kept at room temperature, admission has been restricted to a maximum of 25 visitors at any one time since the 1999 reopening. As a participant of this walking tour, you'll get priority access and won't have to wait in line!
