On our way across the Florentine city centre we shall take gourmet pit stops in typical Florentine bars, shops, and eateries.
When: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 6 pm
Duration: 1.30 hours
Meeting point: Florapromotuscany's desk Piazza della Signoria, 6 at Restaurant Castelvecchi (in front of Banca Toscana), 15 minutes before start of the tour.
Price includes: local guide, wine, cheese and other specialties tasting, “vin santo” and almond biscuits and ice cream.
The tour can be conducted contemporarily in more than one language: English, Italian, French, Spanish and German; available also in Portuguese with at least 4 people booked.
All client cancellations must arrive up to 8 days before the date of the tour to be reimbursed free of charge. If you cancel 8 to 2 days before the date, we keep 10% of the total fee. Further cancellations imply no refund possible. Clients arriving late will not be reimbursed for the missed visit, nor will a client who gets separated from the group during the visit or who does not complete the visit. In case of cancellation of a tour by the tour operator for reasons of force majeur, clients will only be reimbursed for the amount paid for the tour. Tour operator is not responsible for any additional costs in connection with the reimbursement.
The gourmet tour: a taste of the traditional Florentine delights
Ready to eat your way through Florence, one of the best places for food and wine) in the world?
You’ll begin your experience with tasting some wine and nibbles in a local wine bar, then move on to have a bite of a very “special” sandwich that will taste even better in the company of a glass of fine Chianti in a small Osteria. We'll continue our stroll with a visit to a long-established delicatessen shop to experience some of the staple products of the traditional Florentine cuisine, sampling cheese and cured meats. And of course, the Gourmet's Tour must include the famous Vin Santo with the delicious cantuccini almond cookies from Prato.
We'll top it off with a heavenly gelato made by a true professional with all the proper fresh ingredients.
All client cancellations must arrive up to 8 days before the date of the tour/course/service to be reimbursed free of charge.
If you cancel 8 to 2 days before the date, 10% of the fee will have to be paid.
From two days prior to the tour/course/service beginning, the payment of the entire amount will be due and no reimbursement will be granted.
No refund will be granted to any client who is not at the place of departure at the time established. Similarly, no refund will be granted to clients who lose contact with the guide or who do not complete the excursion or service.
