New Sightseeing Experience Visitor Center

Located inside the main train station Firenze Santa Maria Novella at platform 16, the new visitor center is very close to the main stops of City Sightseeing Florence situated in Piazza Stazione. Inside the Sightseeing Experience Visitor Center, customers can ask for any kind of information on all City Sightseeing Italy services, on all Sightseeing Experience tours and excursions and on the city. Our maps and any kind of useful information on the tours are waiting for you.

Opening hours: 8:30 am – 6:00 pm, until October 31 (seasonal variations may occur)


Tickets are valid 48 hours, on all 3 lines.


Line A (Red Line) - takes you from the Florence Central Train Station all around the historical city center, with chances to hop on and off anywhere you like. The line crosses the Arno river, takes you to the heights of Piazzale Michelangelo (great view over Florence and the Florentine hills in the distance!), Piazzale Galileo, and to Palazzo Pitti, the Oltrarno artisans’ district, and back across the river to close the circle at the train station.

Line B (Blue Line) - also takes you from the Florence Central Train Station around the historical city center. Additionally, it gives you a chance to hop on and off all the way to the scenic heights of Fiesole with its villas and charming town center full of historical sights, including the archeological area and Roman theater. Enjoy the view onto Florence before you head back to the city, where your City Sightseeing bus gives you the opportunity to also visit the other side of the Arno, including Piazzale Michelangelo with its panoramic view of Florence, the Palazzo Pitti, and the Oltrarno district full of artisans’ workshops and fabulous eating spots. The circle of the  Line B route closes at the central station.


Florence Line A (Red Line)

  • Duration: 60 minutes

  • Frequency: from 15 minutes to 60 minutes (according to the season)
  • First departure: 9:00 am (times are subject to change)
  • Last departure: 4:30 pm (November - April) / 6:00 pm (May - October)

Commentary language: English, Italian, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Russian.


Florence Fiesole Line B (Blue Line)

  • Period: All year long
  • Tickets are valid 48 hours

  • Duration: 120 minutes

  • Frequency: 60 minutes (according to the season)
  • First departure (subject to change): 10:15 am (November - April) or 10:05 am (May - October)
  • Last departure (subject to change): 2:15pm (November - March) / 5:05 pm (March - April / September - November) / 6:05pm (April - June) / 7:05 pm (June - September)
  • Stops 19 and 20 suspended from November 1 to March 23

Domestic Animals Policy on board City Sightseeing Italy buses

  • It is strictly forbidden to bring ferocious and/or venomous animals on board City Sightseeing buses.
  • Access to the bus is permitted for small and medium domestic animals only if they are inoffensive and respect the following rules:
  • Driver can deny access to the animal on the bus any time in case he believes that the animal might damage or compromise the security on the bus and for its passengers. In case the animal damages or compromises the security, it can be excluded also at a later moment, with no right to refund of the ticket, at the incontestable discretion of City Sightseeing staff.
  • Using muzzle and leash is mandatory, as alternative to the muzzle it is possible to use a pet carrier. Domestic animals with particular anatomical, physiological, and pathological conditions making it impossible for them to use a muzzle must travel inside a pet carrier. The holder must assure that the pet carrier is not in a poor state, that it does not contain food, that it is in excellent, clean condition, and that it cannot damage other people on the bus.
  • The holder must also assure that the animal doesn’t disturb or damage other passengers or the staff on the bus and that it doesn’t get the bus dirty, penalty will be the full reimbursement of the damage. The owner or the holder of the animal is liable for any damage caused by the animal according to the article 2051 cc.


Luggage Policy on board City Sightseeing Italy buses

  • For safety reasons it is strictly forbidden to bring luggage, large bags, big backpacks or bulky luggage on board the City Sightseeing buses.


Cancellation Policy:

For cancellations once your reservation is confirmed, a 15% refund is possible until one business day before your visit. For cancellations less than 24 hours before your tour and no shows, the ticket price cannot be refunded.
