A guided tour through the starry sky, led by expert astronomers
The Rome Planetarium is one of the largest and most technologically advanced planetariums in Italy.
Located within the Museum of Roman Civilization in the EUR district, it offers an immersive astronomical experience thanks to a spectacular 14-meter dome equipped with a modern 4K digital projection system.
• Immersive Experience: Reclining seats arranged beneath a 300-square-meter hemispheric screen that faithfully reproduces the movements of celestial bodies.
• Live Shows: The planetarium’s astronomers guide the audience in real time on a journey of discovery through deep space, the planets, and the constellations.
• In addition to classic journeys through the cosmos (such as “Return to the Stars” or shows dedicated to the Voyager probes), musical shows and interactive screenings designed for young children are available (for example, featuring the charming Dr. Stellarium). There are also shows presented in English.
