Videoguide Tablet for Palazzo Vecchio

It is possible to add to the service the reservation of a Videoguide for Palazzo Vecchio: a modern tablet, 7 inches long with headset, that can be picked up at the Info Point of the Museum of Palazzo Vecchio.

The tablet is provided for up to two hours, so the time of booking of the tablet will be calculated based on the time of booking of the selected combination. The tablet contains an explanation of the Monumental Quarters without Bianca Cappello Room

In 1555 Giorgio Vasari, a painter, architect, and writer from Arezzo - author of The Lives of the Most Excellent Painters, Sculptors and Architects - was appointed architect for the renovation of Palazzo Vecchio. Vasari carried out the immense task of making the building’s countless spaces, halls, rooms, staircases and corridors more organic and functional, transforming it into a sumptuous Renaissance palace.


Meet the master himself - Giorgio Vasari will bring the extraordinary undertaking asked of him to life for you. Hear about how he proceeded when turning the haphazardly erected building into a lavish palace.  In his fascinating story, he reveals his own exceptional technical skill and that of his collaborators in creating Cosimo\'s palace in record time.
