ATTENTION: the video guides can ONLY be reserved together with the museum ticket
Palatina Gallery, the Royal Apartments and Modern Art Gallery Video Guides Tablet rental service.
The duration of the guided tour is 2 hours and 30 minutes, and contains an explanation of about 50 works per museum.
Video Guides are available in English, Italian, French, German and Spanish.
A guide that combines the completeness of a catalog to the freshness of a digital product. Graphic reconstruction of the walls, making it clickable all the works exhibited, constitutes an effective compass to move better in a complex and rich art gallery as Palatina is. Texts, audio and images cast you into a world of art in which each work finds its proper place.
The files of the masterpieces of the Gallery offering a valuable array of fundamental in-depth analysis to contextualize the work and its author in history. The quality of the texts and the information is certified by the Superintendent of the Polo Museale Fiorentino.
An indispensable tool to fully enjoy the visit of the gallery, to learn all that one should know about the more than nine hundred paintings on display, to read the biographies of the greatest artists whose works are on display in the museum, to know more about the latest studies in the field and to discover the history of the most important rooms of the palace.
You will receive a confirmation voucher (valid only for the video guide) together with the confirmation voucher of your visit to the museum. In order to pick the tablet up, please deposit this voucher at the Reservations Cashier, along with a valid identity document (accepted only originals passports, identity cards or car license).
In case of loss or failure to return the device, visitor will be requested to pay the cost (€ 250.00 per each audioguide).
Reservations must be made with a minimum of 1 day notice.
Reservations are limited to 30 persons maximum.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: After succesfully completing a reservation, you will receive two e- mails: the copy of your order (immediately after submitting your order) and the confirmation mail (one working day after). PLEASE NOTICE: Confirmed time is not always the same time you requested; museum automatically confirms the closest available time (any time) on the same date if requested time is sold out. If you have already reserved your entrance tickets for the Gallery, please make sure you reserve the audioguide for the same time you got your visit confirmed.
Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday: 8:15 to 18:50; closed on Monday.
Cancellation Policy:
For cancellations once a confirmation code has been assigned to the reservation, and for no shows, we can refund cost of unused tickets minus service fee (reservation fee and online booking fee).
