Milano a Memoria is a film library and 2D and 5D cinema - for 3D projections enriched with exciting special effects, chair movements, and air and water effects. The environment is characterized by particular stage reconstructions of the landmarks of the city's culture: the Duomo, the Teatro alla Scala, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and the Castello Sforzesco.

Reservations must be made at least 3 business days ahead for single visitors, at least 7 days for groups.
Cancellation policy: it is possible to cancel up to 3 days before the visit in order to be refunded the cost of tickets minus service fee. Further cancellations and no shows are no refundable.

Milano a Memoria is a film library, 2D and “5D” cinema (engaging digital 3D reconstructions plus movements of your chair and special air and water effects create the “5D” experience). The space is characterized by stage reconstructions of the landmarks of the Milan cityscape – the Duomo, the Teatro alla Scala, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, and the Castello Sforzesco.

Light-hearted retelling of 2,000 years of Milan history in 11 minutes – from the traces left by the Romans, through the various foreign dominations (French, Spanish, and Austrians) and the glorious years of the liberation and independence, until the end of 20th century. The film tells the virtues, customs, and traditions of the ruling noble families and popular characters, walks in the footsteps of Renzo and Lucia (the fated lovers from an adaptation of Alessandro Manzoni's novel I Promessi Sposi), while the city grows to establish itself as a modern metropolis.

You'll gain insight into the customs and dress fashions from the historical Five Days of Milan (the 1848 rebellion against the Austrian occupation) to the first inventions involving electricity (light bulb, phonograph, tram), to theater shows, circus, and can-can. (Documents are granted by the Civic Collection of Prints of Milan and with the kind collaboration of some families.)
