Villa di Geggiano has been the family home and winery of the Bianchi Bandinelli family since 1527. Just six kilometres north-east of Siena, its façade looks out onto the enchanting hills of Chianti classico, a region of Italy world famous for its wines, natural beauty and rich history. The first documents which testify to the family’s wine making activity date back to 1725 when Niccolò Bandinelli, who was producing wine in the cellars of the Villa, started exporting to Great Britain.Originally built in the 14th century, the Villa di Geggiano, its gardens and 18th-century decorations have been carefully renovated and restored. The Bandinelli family continue to manage the Villa and the precious surrounding vineyards. We follow the principles of organic farming in the management of the Villa’s 50-acre estate. Organic farming, using traditional wine making techniques supported by state-of-the-art analytical controls, combined with the careful selection of grapes, ensures we produce top quality wines that are available at prestigious shops, restaurants and hotels.
This tasting adds to the basic one a bit more of our history. We will going through all our wines including one of our old Riserva and the powerful Supertuscan Geggiaiolo. You will also be given a tour of our XVII century Villa by the count Andrea Boscu Bianchi Bandinelli or his son Gregorio.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The time you select on the order form is your preferred time. The closest available time, which can be anytime during opening hours on the selected date, will be automatically confirmed if your preferred time is no longer available.
Cancellation Policy
- Once a confirmation code has been assigned to the reservation we can refund the cost of unused tickets minus a service fee (reservation fee and online booking fee) up to 2 business days before the visit.
- No refund is possible for a cancellation less than 48 hours before the visit, and for no-shows.
