Siena Walk: Siena, Daughter of the Road

On the trail of pilgrims in Tuscany in the Middle Ages with a guide just for you.

Info & Booking

Beginning outside of Siena’s northernmost gate, the Porta Camollia, we will travel along the route known as the Via Francigena and imagine we are medieval pilgrims as we and pass by the church of the Knights of Malta. We’ll then make our way all the way down to Fontebranda, Siena’s oldest fountain, and cross briefly through the 21st century by taking an escalator up to the Cathedral and see what use to be Europe’s oldest hospital.
