Food, Art and Music

The tour starts from the church of San Francesco di Paola in Piazza del Plebiscito, one of the most famous squares of the city, from which one can admire the broad perspective of the Royal Palace of Naples, magnificent palace built for the Spanish court, designed by Domenico Fontana on the 17th Century.

The visit to the palace includes the Royal House, the Court Theater, and the Hall of the Throne. Then, you will continue the walk to Piazza Trieste e Trento, from where you can admire the famous Teatro San Carlo, the Church of S. Ferdinando, and Galleria Umberto.

At this road junction of major importance - where converge Via San Carlo, Via Toledo and Via Chiaia, places for shopping - you will take the funicular up to Corso Vittorio Emanuele and reach the Church of St. Catherine of Siena, with great historical and artistic importance. Here you will assist to a concert of chamber music organized with the Centro di Musica Antica Pietà dei Turchini, always played by important artists (start at 6:30pm).

At the end of the concert, you will reach the Azar Cafe, on the Vomero hill, where a wine and cheese tasting based on Marzemino - the famous wine mentioned in Mozart's Don Giovanni - will give guests a pleasant memory.
