The audio-guide allows visitors to learn about the history of Palazzo Vecchio, the heart of the city of Florence, and to appreciate its masterpieces.Seat of the civic government since the early 14th century, the palace is in fact the result of many architectural and artistic interventions, among which the renovation promoted by Duke Cosimo I de' Medici in the mid-16th century is particularly important.
The narration accompanies the visitor from the courtyards on the ground floor to the top of the tower, offering the tools to get to know the different rooms and to admire the marvellous decorations and works housed there. Room after room, the visitor is not only oriented, but also involved in the events and atmospheres that characterised the palace during the Middle Ages, the Renaissance and the following centuries.
