OPENING HOURS:
- Tuesday to Sunday from 9am to 5:30pm (last admission 30 minutes before closure). Closed on Mondays, December 25 and January 1.
- Reservations must be made with a minimum of 1-day notice.
Facilitated Access: moveable and stationary ramps; elevator.
Amateur photos are allowed inside the museum, without flash. Professional photos must be authorized by the Museum Director.
Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellations and changes without penalty if communicated within 24 hours from the original booking
- For cancellations or changes up to 3 days before the date of the visit, the cost of the service is due as penalty
- For cancellation or changes from 3 days before the date of the visit, no refund of the ticket, service, or ancillary services such as guides or earphones will be granted.
- Any change is subject to confirmation according to availability.

Modern Art Gallery Milan (GAM)
The collections of the Gallery of Modern Art are located on the first and second floors of the Villa Reale in Milan, just opposite the public gardens, near the city center.
The first six rooms illustrate Neoclassical themes and characters with masterpieces by Appiani and Canova, followed by two rooms dedicated to the portrait, with particular attention to the works of Francesco Hayez. The sumptuous Ballroom and the luminous Room of Parnassus are works of art in themselves.
Next, the romantic age is represented by leading artists (Faruffini, Mosè Bianchi, Induno, Piccio) and the room dedicated to the Scapigliatura, an artistic movement which developed in Italy after the Risorgimento period (1815–1871). The movement included poets, writers, musicians, painters and sculptors. Then, you’ll find the Divisionism period with artists like Segantini, Grubicy, and Longoni and painting with social themes by Morbelli, Sottocornola and Nomellini. The visit continues with Medardo Rosso's masterpieces and Symbolist paintings by Previati and Segantini.
The second floor houses the Grassi Collection, synthesis of the eclectic taste of the entrepreneur Carlo Grassi, with works dating from the 16th century to the first half of the 20th century, as well as a selection of oriental art. The collection includes unique pieces by Manet, Cezanne, Van Gogh, and Gauguin.
Your visit ends with the Vismara Collection, one of the best examples of private collections in Milan, fruit of the passion and artistic research of Giuseppe Vismara. The collection includes paintings and sculptures of the 20th century in Italy (Carrà, De Pisis, Modigliani, Morandi, Sironi) and abroad (Picasso, Matisse, Renoir, Vuillard, Rouault, Dufy).
